(YSCC) -- NHTI will be the 4th seed and face 5th seeded Penn State Brandywine May 14th at 2 p.m. in USCAA 2018 Softball Tournament quarterfinal action.
NHTI secured their spot via an at-large bid by winning the YSCC Championship while compiling a 23-game winning streak.
NHTI's opponent is the Penn State Brandywine, from Middletown Township, Pennsylvania, who comes into the tournament with a 25-8-1 record. Brandywine secured their spot via automatic bid by winning the Penn State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC) Championship Sunday against Penn State Schuylkill.
NHTI makes its 4th trip to the Small College World Series. Their first trip was in 2014 when they placed 7th in a rain-shortened event in Akron, Ohio.
