NHTI hosts YSCC Elite 8 Basketball Championships

Feb. 19-22 

Concord: NHTI will host the 2015 Yankee Small College Conference Elite 8 Basketball Championships February 19-22 at the Crocker Wellness Center on the NHTI campus.

Top seeded College of St. Joseph’s (Vt.) on the women’s bracket and Southern Maine CC on the men’s side will be in hot pursuit of the automatic bid at stake to the USCAA National Championships in Uniontown, Pa March 3-7.  The tournament winner for both the men and women receives the automatic bid to Uniontown with other teams vying for the at-large tournament bids. USCAA bids will be announced on Tuesday, February 24.

The NHTI women are the #5 seed playing U-Maine Augusta on Thursday night at 7 and the NHTI men are the # 6 seed playing U-Maine Machias at 7 PM on Friday night.
