YSCC Basketball Players of the Week - Week 4

(YSCC) - Everyone recovered from their Thanksgiving break to hit the hardwood again in the Yankee Small College Conference. Here are this week's YSCC Players of the Week: 

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL

Becky Johnson | Vermont Tech | SO | G

Johnson takes home this week's YSCC and USCAA DII Women's Basketball Player of the Week. Becky was Vermont Tech's leading scorer in both of our games this week, scoring 13 in a loss to ACPHS and 25 in our first win of the season over Great Bay. She was red hot from 3 point range in the two games, shooting 41.7% on 24 attempts. She also contributed six steals over the two games, including a steal and layup in the final minutes of the Great Bay game to seal the win.

MEN'S BASKETBALL

Cameren Cousins | Southern Maine CC | SO | F

Sophomore captain Cameren Cousins dominated on both ends of the court in SMCC's convincing road win over the University of Maine at Augusta on Tuesday, Nov. 23. Cousins recorded a double-double topping all scorers with 25 points on 68.8 percent shooting in addition to 12 rebounds (7 offensive).
