(YSCC) - Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) proudly announces basketball Players of the Week. 

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL

Kali Thompson | Central Maine CC | F | SO

In the Mustangs' lone game of the week, Thompson helped lead the undefeated Mustangs to a 33-point win over SMCC Seawolves (ranked #2 in the national coaches poll). Thompson recorded a double-double with 10 points, 11 rebounds, two assists, two steals in just 23 minutes of action.

MEN'S BASKETBALL

DeSean Cromwell | Southern Maine CC | F | SR

Senior captain DeSean Cromwell willed his team to a conference victory over top-seeded Central Maine Community College on December 14 with a career-high 29 points in 37 minutes of action. Cromwell scored 8-20 from the field, including four triples, and pulled eight rebounds. He added three assists and three steals to a productive evening.
