Seawolves sweep YSCC Player of the Week, add another USCAA POTW winner

(YSCC) - Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) proudly announces basketball Players of the Week. 

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL

Maddy York | Southern Maine CC | F | SO

Maddy York of Southern Maine CC posted a career day in a win over Great Bay Community College on Wednesday, February 8. York is this week's YSCC and USCAA DII Women's Player of the Week. She netted 39 points highlighted by 11 made three-pointers (a program record) in just 19 minutes of action against the Herons.

MEN'S BASKETBALL

Jack Pyzynski | Southern Maine CC | G | SO

Sophomore captain Jack Pyzynski totaled 32 points last week and 19 in a win over the University of Maine at Augusta. Pyzynski recorded a double-double in the same game with 14 rebounds. He came away with nine steals, nine assists, and 18 rebounds spanning 70 minutes (two games) on the floor.
