YSCC Players of the Week - Winter Week 3

Here are the Yankee Small College Conference Players of the Week for week three of the winter season.

Women's Basketball - Julia Reed (SMCC)

Julia Reed powered Southern Maine CC through a perfect 3-0 Week 3, delivering a complete two-way performance. Reed averaged 15.3 points, 4.7 rebounds, 6.0 assists, and 4.7 steals while shooting 45.9% from the field, 40.0% from three, and 75.0% at the line. Reed's all-around impact helped extend SMCC's win streak to four games.

Men's Basketball - A.J. Richardson (NHTI)

AJ Richardson delivered a breakout Week 3 for NHTI, totaling 53 points across two games. Richardson opened the weekend with a career-high 32 points and 9 rebounds on 11-of-19 shooting against Clinton CC, then followed with 21 points versus Paul Smith's. For the week, he averaged 26.5 points and 6.5 rebounds, shooting 50% from the floor and hitting six threes at 35%. Four games into his career, Richardson is averaging 21.0 PPG – the highest mark on the Lynx roster.
