YSCC Players of the Week - Winter Week 7

Here are the Yankee Small College Conference Players of the Week for week seven of the winter season.

Women's Basketball - Julia Reed (SMCC)

Freshman guard Julia Reed put together an all-around week for Southern Maine CC, averaging 21.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 7.5 assists per game while shooting 64.3% from the field and 62.5% from three-point range. Reed scored 20 points in a road win at Hudson Valley before following it up with a 22-point performance at home against CCRI. Reed also made an impact defensively, totaling 12 steals across the two games.

Men's Basketball - Sean Bosia (SMCC)

Sean Bosia turned in a strong week for Southern Maine CC, averaging 18.5 points and 6.0 rebounds over two games while shooting 54.5% from the field. Bosia scored 21 points in a road win at UConn Avery Point and followed with 16 points against CCRI, going a combined 11-for-14 from the free-throw line. Defensively, Bosia tallied 4 steals and 2 blocks on the week.
