YSCC Players of the Week - Winter Week 9

Here are the Yankee Small College Conference Players of the Week for week nine of the winter season.

Women's Basketball - Hunter Hartsgrove (CMCC)

Hunter Hartsgrove had another outstanding shooting performance against Washington County to claim her second consecutive YSCC Player of the Week honor. The guard from Patten, ME knocked down 10 three-pointers and finished with 43 points, two shy of her career high set last week. She also pulled down six rebounds and had four steals in the win over the Golden Eagles.

Men's Basketball - Chance Mercier (SMCC)

Chance Mercier delivered another big week averaging 24.5 ppg over two starts while shooting 52.9% from the field and 61.1% from three. The sophomore from Ellsworth, ME knocked down 11 three-pointers on the week, scored 49 total points, and did not commit a single turnover. His play was key in a tightly contested conference win over UMaine Augusta where he scored a season high 33 points while shooting 7-for-10 from three.
