YSCC Volleyball Crossover Weekend

Concord, N.H. – The Yankee Small College Conference volleyball season continued with a busy two-day slate of action hosted at NHTI and Concord, N.H., as eight programs battled through a full weekend of matches.

Saturday, September 20
NHTI opened the weekend with a strong performance, sweeping Vermont State University Randolph, 3–0. Central Maine CC earned a 3–0 win over Word of Life in the Crossover meet. Vermont State Randolph bounced back later in the day with a 3–1 triumph over Great Bay, but NHTI stayed perfect on the day with a hard-fought 3–2 victory against Albany Pharmacy. Southern Maine CC closed Saturday with a 3–0 win over Word of Life.

Sunday, September 21
Paul Smith's College opened Sunday play in Concord with an impressive 3–1 win against NHTI. Word of Life then picked up its first victory of the season, sweeping Great Bay CC 3–0. Southern Maine CC continued its strong start by defeating Vermont State Randolph, 3–0. Central Maine CC also stayed unbeaten on the weekend, blanking Albany Pharmacy 3–0. Paul Smith's College added another sweep, taking down Great Bay 3–0 in Concord.

Word of Life earned its second win of the day, topping NHTI 3–1, before Southern Maine CC closed its weekend with a 3–0 sweep of Albany Pharmacy. In the final match of the Crossover meet, Central Maine CC completed a perfect weekend with a 3–0 victory over Vermont State Randolph.

Weekend Highlights
